Dear Friends,
We had an excellent First Wednesday last night, the 4th of January. Although it was only the second day back to work for most people and the weather was appalling, we had a very sizeable crowd.
James Mroczynski preached from Luke 15:1-10, the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin. It is always a thrill to hear the principal, leading truth from those parables -
the deep self-sacrificing love of Christ towards sinners, and the pleasure with which He saves them.
Once again there were several in the audience who would not consider themselves Christians; some of these have come many times. Please pray for those who do not know the Lord Jesus as Saviour but continue to come. It would be a wonderful thing to see the Holy Spirit bring the miracle of salvation into their lives.
Next month FW is on the 1st of February and Paul Smith, from St. Mary's in Ealing, is preaching from John 18:27-40, "We Judge God". I hope you can join us at Haven Green Baptist Church from 7.30-8.30pm. Parking restrictions around the church finish at 6.30!
Many thanks,
Stan Adams

Dear All
Just a reminder that tomorrow night is the first, First Wednesday of the New Year.

If you can, please join us as usual at Haven Green Baptist Church, 7.30-8.30.

Dear All,
Just a quick reminder that tomorrow night, Wednesday 7th, is the Christmas Evening at First Wednesday. This, for many, will be the first opportunity of the 2011 Christmas Season to limber up the vocal chords and give praise and thanks for the coming of the Lord Jesus some 2000 years ago.
Rob Pickering will be preaching from John 3:16, "The Christmas Gift That Money Cannot Buy" and Ruth Fortey, a great singer and long serving friend of First Wednesday, will be singing a solo.
So please join us if you can as we are looking forward to a lovely evening with God's Word.
As usual, 7.30 - 8.30pm, Haven Green Baptist Church, on the corner of Haven Green in Ealing (opposite Ealing Broadway Station).
Please see the website for more details: www.firstwednesday.org
Best regards,
Stan Adams

Dear Friends
Just a reminder that the November First Wednesday is tomorrow night, Wednesday Nov 2nd, as usual, 7.30-8.30pm at Haven Green Baptist Church, Ealing Broadway.
Stuart Keir is coming down from his church near Aberdeen, Banchory Evangelical Church, to preach from Psalm 51, "How Can I Be Clean". Stuart was a neurologist and research scientist before
being called into ministry and we are very pleased to have him come from so far away to be with us.
We have had several hits on this website recently from people listening to past sermons. Choose the link 'Listen to Previous Sermons' on this page if you share this interest.
Also, please remember to pray for First Wednesday as we continue to proclaim God's Word in Ealing.
Many thanks

Dear All,
We had an excellent evening last night. For those of you who have not heard our young orchestra recently, they are coming on to great things.
We sang "Praise My Soul the King of Heaven", "How Deep the Father's Love for Us" and to end, "Tell Out My Soul". We were also blessed by a solo from Ruth Fortey.
Reuben Hunter preached from Psalm 36 and if you were not there, I encourage you to listen to it on the website www.firstwednesday.org
As he pointed out so well, this Psalm has an eternal message and one can sing it right into today's world.
The next FW is on 2nd November and we have Stuart Kier visiting us from Aberdeen where he lives with his family and pastors the Banchory Christian Fellowship Church. I hope you can make it and join us for an hour of praising the Lord and proclaiming His Word. As usual, FW will be at Haven Green Baptist Church, 7.30pm.
